I know, we got engaged 3 months ago… but since we were in Europe we didn’t really get to celebrate with family and friends. So, we waited for Jerry to return and then we let the celebrations begin. My grandma and grandpa were nice enough to let us have the party at their home. (Thanks again)
It was nice to have a. all my bridesmaids in the same place so they could meet if they hadn’t already (their kind of all spread throughout Michigan and Chicago) b. most of our closest family and friends in the same place c. some good laughs and lots of love
Our families all chipped in and made different appetizers/desserts, all of my bridesmaids brought a bottle of wine… or a bottle of vodka (emily, of course), so we had plenty of food and plenty of booze, it turned out great!
I did fail at getting a photo with my own family…. whoops!
My second family and maid of honor, Sophia!
My bridal party, Sophia and I should have probably switched spots lol!
From left to right:
Kailee, Sammy, (Me), Sophia (MOH), Emily, Audrey, Lauren!
Jerry and his Best Man, Pat!
One of my most wonderful friends, Megan. ❤
My favorite baby, Emily.
One of my two very handsome brothers. The youngest had a hockey game… go figure 😉 We missed him!
A couple of my favorite gifts (I’m filling out thank you cards, sorry everyone! I’ve been traveling for work a lot. I haven’t forgotten!)
OBSESSED with these glasses!
Thank you all again, for a wonderful night!
My friend Kailee came in from Chicago that weekend just for the party so we made sure to make the most of it! Friday after the party we headed out for a few drinks, safe to say we had a lot of fun!
We even squeezed in a Red Wings playoff game the following day which she was super excited about (since now she lives in Chicago with those yucky blackhawks fans) feel her pain? 😉 haha!
By Sunday we were absolutely exhausted! Kailee headed back to Chicago and we took care of some last minute things before it was time to head back to work Monday morning.
It was a great weekend and it felt great to finally celebrate with family and friends. We’re happy to share this special time with all of you.
Much love xo
